MOTOR ACCIDENT.

Tu- '.. roa, who \va s drying the cycle, : applied the brakes,; which caused the •! bike; to skid,.both.men, being thrown. . Just, on recovering himself, found : - that Turoa was in\ur,ed: He immediately got the assistance of Mr KiU. - minster who, at oncfc rang up lor Dr. McDoJhald. On *hjei doctor aitriving * he found that Turoa\ who, was. unconscious, had fractuted his skull. He ordered his removal to the P'almerston North Hospital, and he wa* placed on the 9.0 train. ' Just suffered injuries to his ankle and arm, and although paiDiul were ► not of a serious nature and he was .' able to return to his home -at Man- ' gaore. The unfortunate sufferer is a married man with two children, and is a nephew of Mr Hone McMillan, of Koputaro'a. , On enquiry at the hospital we learned that Turoa was slightly better, but it will be a week before it is known if he is out of danger.
