QUEEN CARNIVAL.

Mothers are remiiided of the Baby Show to be held at the bazaar in aid of the funds for the Farmers’ Queen at the Druids’ Hall on Saturday afternoon' next. . In addition there will be plenty of other attractions to interest them, as a big display of goods of every description will; be offered and there will be games and competitions to suit all. Proceedings will be enlivened by the Foxton Band and an enjoyable afternoon and evening awaits those who attend. Arrangements have been made by the combined committees of the Queen Carnival to hold a monster ba*zaar as a final 'effort on the last two days of the carnival, Thursday and Friday, November 29 and 30, when a special feature will be a huge tug-oIV war tournament, for which it is anticipated there will large entries. A trophy valued at £lO is to be given the winners. Entries will clbsie with Mr J. T. on Tuesday, Nov, -27th.
