WEDDING BELLS.
FRANK—BLANDFORD
A pretty wedding was solemnised recently at St. Mary's Church, Wellington, when Phoebe, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Blandford, of Shannon, was married to Mr George Ludwig Frank, son of Mr and Mrs Frank, of Waitara, Tkra&aki. The Rev. Father Murphy officiated. The bride, who was given away toy her father, wore a handsome gown of cream crepe-de-chine and radium lace, with veil and orange blossoms. The bridal bouquet was iof cream roses and tulips with touches of pink. The chief bridesmaid, Miss G. Blandford, sister of the bride, wore a pretty frock of oowder-blue crepe-de-chine, and a. black picture hat. She carried" a. bouquet of yellow tulips. Another bridesmaid, Miss Thelma Jepsen* of Feathers ton, cousin, of the bride, wore a pretty frock of 'shell pink crepe-de-chine and a black picture hat. Her bouquet >. was of heliotrope sweet peas. Mr F. C. Peach, of Shannon, bridesmaids were handsome morocco cousin of the bride, was groomsman. The bridegroom's presents to the bridesmaids were handsome morocca pursesVith silver mountings. A very pleasant afternoon was spent at Dustin's, Cuba street, where the wedding breakfast was held, the many friends wishing the young couple success and happiness, .Dancing and musical items were very much enjoyed l hy the guests. Mr and Mrs Frank left for the 1 south, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's travelling costume was of fawn gaberdine, handsomely braided, with hat of brown lace trimmed with wheat tiers and touches of henna.
