The Lievin Co-op. 'Dairy Co. .this month paid out Is 7d per lb for butterfat for the . SeptembOT-Octoher period, as against Is 8d lor the corresponding period of last} year. While the payouts of the various companies are not so large as at this period last year, present comdjitioiis appear to herald a brighter period l , as the season advances. The payments made, by other local companiets are as follow: N.Z. Farmers' Dairy Union (butter) paid out, £9533, based on Is 6d per lb biittarfat, Tiakitahuna (cheese) Is Bdi; Manawatu Reliance (cheese) Is 8d; Kairanga (cheese) Is 7d, .and butter Is sd; Ra.venswood (cheese) Is 4d; Shannon i cheese) Is 8d; Awahuri (butter) Is 56'.; Whakaronga (butter) Is 3d.
