Spooner, of Awapuni, has just completed her semi-official test of 503.2711>s of butter-fat- from Ss2f>.!»ius milk. If is understood that this record has been gained on twice a day milking and running with the ordinary herd. The dam of this lioifer is You’ll Do Bilberry, and her sire the imported bull Jessie’s Register of Melrose. This excellent record goes to show the suitability of. the Jersey cow, especially now that farmers more than ever must study the most economical production of-butter-fat from their herds.
