Another attraction was the laiicy dress hockey match at the Domain where a collection was taken, lor the. geneiial school picnic lund. Although the pockets oi the punlic ox Shannon have neen severely taxed during the last few -,ecks, it is very gratiiying the. way the i eople gave on Saturday to assist the school fund.

Next Friday will be the opening night of the bazaar in the Druids Hall when there is sure to be, a large attendance. There will .be tea-rdumu, gipsy stalls, produce stalls, parcel waggon, iollie and fancy Avork stalls, shooting gallery,, novelty guessing competitions aiid a, host of other attractions. Next Friday at 7 p.m. an exceptional. jazz band of 20 artists will parade at Mrs Aldersey’s corner and march to the bazaar, where they will entertain the public at short intervals Avith bright, and breezy music. In our advertising columns the committee of the' Kingston Road Queen (Molly Steer) thank the public for the hearty manner in. AAhich they supported her candidature on Saturday.
