RECORD IN RATS.
ROCKHAjMPTON, August 18
Some time ago a rat measuring 23! inches was caught at Wooloomooloo, and which was reported to he the largest ever captured in Sydney. Yesterday the rat gang of the Rockhampton City Council captured a larger rat., measuring 25! inches. c The tail of the local rat was OJ inches long. Thie rat had a thiGk covering of fur an inch long.
