March had been put down as the date, but •possibly it would be June. The works wore ready to receive machinery, and in six months’ time 1 there should he very little to do there. The Hon. Dr. Newman intends to ask in the Legislative Council lor a statement as to when the supply or electricity from Mangahao is likely to be ready.' '
