SHANNON STOCK SALE
The monthly local stock sale was held yesterday. There was a poor attendancq and only a lair yarding of cattle came forward, mostly stores. Only two small pens of sheep were offered. The following .are tile prices received:—Sheqp : Fat sheep 27/7, hoggets 16/D. Cattle: Yearling steers 38/-, ia.t steers £4 15s, empty cows £1 to £z ss, lorward and lat cows £3, £3 17s, up. 4o .£s', springing cows £4, store pigs 33s to 355.
