FURTHER RISE IN PIGS. There was a’smaller yarding at the weekly Levin sale, yesterday than for some weeks, both sheep and cattle being poorly represented. Most cattle entered were dairy cows, which sold according to ;quaiity, ranging to xii. Most of those yarded were m. indifferent quality and were neglected. Three good Holstein grade neiters close to profit realised £8 2a 6d. Pigs came forward in larger numbers than of late, the yarding being practically confined to weaners aim stones, which sold at an advance of, in some instances, 6s over last week s Quotations are as follow Pigs: Weaners 22s to 30s 6d; stores to 395; porkers £2 7s to £2 15s. Sheep: Light fat wethers, 325; heavier sorts 365; fat ewes 26s 7d, Cattle: Fat cows £3 5s to £5 10s; store cows 30s to £2 10s; dairy cows £• 10s to £l4; springing better* 10 £8 2s 6d; potter bulls 30s to £2 4s.
