(From our own Correspondent.) Shifting operations were carried out by the transmission camp men last week, when they moved camp to Whitmore.
Mr and Mrs McHardiei are visiting here at present. Mr and Mrs Stewart are leaving the district shortly, Mr' Stewart having secured a position in Nelson. Mrs B'ree, the local postmistress has been granted sick leave., and intends visiting Rotorua. Up-to-date pictures are being screened at the local (hall. The residents had the pleasure of enjoying “Rohm Hood” on Saturday night.
