“THE TOP OF NEW YORK.”
May McAvoy demonstrated her versatility in “The Top of New York,’.’ her latest Paramount picture. She portrays a New York shop girl who lives in the tenements and finds romance on the rooftops, where New York’s poor sleep in summer time. While ministering to a sick brother, Whom, l she keeps on the roof much of the time even in winter, as. she has heard patients of hospitals are kept, she finally finds her life problem satisfactorily solved, but not before many bitter experiences come to her. “The Top of New York” will show ait the local Theatre to-morrow. MEXICAN DRAMA MONDAY. On Monday a stirring drama of the Mexican border will be screened. It is a gripping story with many weird and exciting incidents. ;
