The residents have been, well catered lor in the way of amusements this week. On Tuesday the. camp staff were tendered a return dance, which was enjoyed by all present. On Thursday and Saturday nights good picture programmes were, submitted, and on Friday the Usual fortnightly euchre and dance was held. The prizes donated for the" euchre were won by Miss McGregor and Mr Cording, Mi&s Reid, and Mr Gyde. winning the second prizes. Mr Stewart .and Mr A. Reid acted as M.’sC., and being a very cold night, all were eager to commence the dance. Owing to the Anglican Synod meeting in Wellington, Mr and Mrs Abbot were unable to be present.
