DRAW WITH METROPOLIS. (Received Wednesday, 11.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 27. The Maoris played a draw, sixteen points al. with Metropolis at Manly. The ground, was slushy after the recent heavy rains. Erasmus, Gormley, London and Greatorex scored two tries for Metropolis and Walker converted two. Though the Maoris were unlucky In miss’ng the winning goal on time, "a draw was a fair reflex of the capabilities of both teams.
