PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given ir accordance .with the. provision! of Section 5Q of the “Rating Act 1908,” and also of Section 120 of “Th< Counties Act, 1920,” that it is the in tention of the Horowhenua Goumtj Council, at a meeting to -be held or SATURDAY, 14th July, 1923, to strike the General and Separate Rates ir the respective ridings and water-race districts of the x.orowhenua county for the period from the Ist Apx*il, 1923, to the 31st March, 19-24, viz. In the Tokomaru riding, a General Rate of- £d in, the £1; in the Wirokino riding a. General Rate of |d in the £1; in the Otaki riding a General Rate ol £d in the £1; in the Te Horo riding a General Rate of |d in the £1 : and m terms of the “Water Supply Act, 1908,” and the “Rating Act, 1908,” a Separate Rate of id! in the £1 in the Horowhenua Water Race District; a Separate Rate of Jd in the £1 in the Hautere Water Race District. —all. upon the Capital Value of all rateable properties in the respective Ridings and Water Race- Districts aforesaid, the same to become due and payable in one instalment oir the first day of August, 1923. - The Valuation Rolls are open for inspection at the County Offices, Levin, during office hours.
