. There are persistent rumours of a 1 [ contemplated reduction in railway ; freights, but so far no official information on the subject is available. It is stated unofficially that there is certain to. be a reduction in the freights on dairy prpduce. Dairymen saj l - that they have already had a promise from Mr. Massey, Acting-Minister of Railways, to that effect.
