Canada, and on hoard the frail craft *ar,e Jean Paige fwlto has the leading role of the story—that of Betty Mail'd) and half a dozen small children. The picture version of Vaughan Kester’s much-read book is stated to be well worth all the pains that have been expended in making it. Some of I the most lovable of characters are to be found in the story, the cast for which was chosen with great care, and ■all the quaint picturesquenegs of the scenes have been faithfully reproduced. It is a story containing the maximum in heart interest, and its appeal is said to be of the very widpst.
