FRONTIER INCIDENT CAUSES TROUBLE. all traffic stopped. (Received. Thursday 7.30 p.m.) BELGRADE, April 25. Czecho-Slovakian Ministers visited the Foreign Minister and informed him of the strained relations between Czecho-Slovakia and Hungaiy over a frontier incident wherein a Czech frontier guard was massacred. The Czech Government decided to expel sixty Hungarian subjects residing in Czecho-Slovakia and from April 24 to close the frontiers to all traffic from Hungary. M. Ninetchitcli has promised common action on the part ol the Little Entente.

TRYING TO PICK A QI'AKIUiJ.. (Received Thursday, 7.30 p.m.) VIENNA, April 25. M. Apponyi addressed an interpellation to the Foreign Minister, remarking that the Little Entente was endeavouring to pick a Quarrel and also resorting to measures in opposition to the League of Nations Pact without first seeking arbitration. The Foreign Minister’s reply said Hungary had offered to submit the incident to a mixed International Coiumision.
