MAORILAND THEATRE.
“WHERE IS MY WANDERING BOY TO-NIGHT?” “\vjiere is My Wandering Boy Tonight?” is the peculiar title to a particularly interesting story showing on Thursday evening. The scenery and setting of the film are of an acceptable character and provide a most suitable background for the story of a young man’s undoing and his regeneration. The youth leaves a country store to wander on Broadway to swell the crowd, at jazz cafes, and finally in a foolish infatuation to forget tthp mother who waits for his return. From right-thinking and clean living lie sinks gradualy until liis sins find him out, and lie becomes the occupant of a prison cell. During the telling of the story a most realistic head-on collision between two large locomotives occurs. Scenes in the famous Bowery area of New York, life in an American prison, the back stage of a Broadway theatre, and finally the quiet and peaceful surroundings of the mother waiting for her boy’s return give ample variety to an interesting film.
