A sensational murder is reported at Nice by Jean Bores, a well known millionaire and philanthropist, who is aged 25 years, and a bed-ridden cripple, suffering from paralysis. He shot an estate agent, named Depuy, who asked him to sign transfers to some title deeds. Bores seized a loaded gun that was close to his bedside and fired, killing Depuy. Bores has be°n allowed to remain in his magnificent Riviera villa pending , investigation. He says Depuy attempted to coerce him to sign documents under the menace of bodily harm. Bores is an opostle of the simplified French spelling. Bores made his fortune in Argentina. In a statement to the police, the millionaire said he wanted to revenge himself on the agent for buying a house from him for £5700 and selling it for £7IOO.
