The building is : to the order of the Central Billiard and'Auctioneering Co. and will be of brick, two storeys. The billiard-room will be on the second floor, having a floor space 60 feet by 34 feet, and will contain six billiard tables, a number of tables for chess and draughts, and a reading room and will be finished throughout in a style equal to that of any saloon in the Dominion. The ground floor will contain two shops, 22 x 12, with an island window in the centre. The fronts will be finished in white tiles, One of the shops will be used as a tobacconist's and sports depot and the other as an up-to-date hairdressing saloon.
