One firm of bricklayers in Wellington have been called on to repair DO chimneys that Avere either cracked or tliroAvn doAvn by the recent earthquake. During the month of' March, SB7 ucav arrivals, including four Chinese, landed in Auckland from abroad. This is a decrease of 697 as compared with March ~ of last year. A trill from GreytOAvn to Otaki over the ranges Avas made at the week-end by two men and two boys, avlio reached Otaki safely on Monday night after a good trip.
