MUSICAL COMEDY DE LUXE.
Something of unusual interest to lovers of musical comedy will be presented at the Maoriland Theatre on Wednesday evening next, when Allred Laurie’s Musical Comedy Co. opens ?br a. one-night season with a bevy of terpsichorean beauties, who lor the past 12 months have delighted Australian audiences in a marked degree. Never has suen a talented and beautiful ballet graced the New Zealand stage, which is saying a lot, and unlimited interest is attached to their Shannon appearance, witli a number of specially selected stars. The whole show is full of pep, nut a single wait, but surprise follows surprise, in which music-lovers who are fond of bright, sparkling and - catchy interpretations will have their fill with their lamous Buster Ballet. Several new stars to this Dominion will make their bow. Miss Erica Fane, a young and glorious soprano, must delight; Miss Muriel Brown, a past mistress of. dancing, is described as charming. Miss Dorothy Bailey, a dashing soubrette, is a feature of the production. Mr Les. Faulkner, one of the chosen tenors of Australian fame, will please. On the comedy side, that long, lean rasher, viz., Mr Torn Lincoln, will make your sides split. A worthy revue artist, the dame work of Mr Will Evans is indeed a great feature. Everything one wants to see or hear is produced with the Laurie Company, .singing, dancing, scenes, sketches, and laughter, to make you happy. Patrons are advised to book at Aldersey’s.
