There was an amazing and bitter scene in the House of Commons, when Mr. C.'W. Crook (East Ham.), in his maiden, speech, moved a motion urging • strict control , of alien immigration. ■' , : . Major Paget angrily declared that • the Scottish Labourites .were not •’re-turned’'-by' Scottish "'votes. .
