SATURDAY'S PLAY,

Only two outside rinks visited Levin' on Saturday to tajte part in the gaia day arranged by the local club. Boih rinks were from Shannon, and were skipped", by Murphy and Gagliardi.

A Levin rink skipped by Harris played Gagliardi. The visitors had 10 on before the local rink *got in a counting shot, but once Harris got going he quickly made ,up the leeway and won. by 25 to 10. Rankin .(Levin) met Murphy's rinli. This game was closely contested right through, and at the last head the score was 22 all. After Murphy had sent down his final bowl, Shannon was lying the counting shots, but Rankin ran Murphy's bowl out and trailed kitty, thus giving Levin three, r>y which margin Levin won. Afternoon tea was kindly provided by the ladies.
