AUGMENTED CABLE SERVICE.
(Received Monday, 2 a.m.) LONDON, Fqb. 10. The British (government proposes laying cables between the principal West Indian Islands, via Bermuda, including Trinidad and Bargadoes to Deniarara, supplementing with a wireless system operating from the Turks Islands and feeding the smaller centres. :• Proposals have • been made to the Government owning the Pacific cable to, permit the Pacific Cable Board to work this new system through their Halifax station.
