Daigety and Co., Lid., report that at Otaki on Thursday last there: was a heavy entry of sheep, and in spue oi mrocious weather conditions, was proimbiy. the best sale held in Otaki xvi years. There was a" large and representative attendance oi buyers. Bidding was keen, and a clearance was effected at prices as under: Fat ewes 27/, 28/6, mixed woolly sheep 33/, 2 and 4-th ewes 30/6 to 33/, 2-th ewes 30/ to 30/5, 2-th wethers 25/9 tu 27/, shorn lambs to 17/6, small iambs 12/3 to 15/, i'.ni. Southdown rams £5 5/, store bullocks £5, cows and.calves £5, fat and forward cows £3 7/6 to £5, store cows £2 7/6, m.s. weaners £2 1/.
