TALL STORIES FROM VAAL RIVER. Reports of the presence of an aiuphibitous monster in the Vaal river have disturbed the wonted tranquility of Wuldcck’s Plant. It is described by those who profess to have seen it as a hooded python, arid tall stories are told of its size and characteristics. • The other day two of the most adventurous spirits of the place set out on a small craft in order to administer the coup de grace to the unwelcome visitant.
