‘ ‘ READY TO MAKE GREAT SACRIFICES. ” (Received Monday, 7 p.m.) LAUSANNE, February 4. The Turkish reply expresses the conviction that the unani- ' mity of views between the Allies and Turkish delegation on fundamental points is a sufficient establishment of peace and declares that the Turks are prepared to agree, to. great sacrifices for the preservation of peace. They accept the western < frontier as proposed by the Allies and in order to testify to, their goodwill, will not insist upon obtaining Karagat&h and the railway thence to ' Huhleburgas and Demotika. Briefly, they renounce the frontier of 1915, they renounce the policy in regard to closing the Straits, agree 1 to their demilitarisatian, surrender their claim to garrison, Gallipoli and will leave the cemeteries in Anzac zone undisturbed. They suggest that future of Mosul be decided between Britain and Turkey within a year. v The reply agreed to accept proposals for sharing the Turkish debt, but reserving rights to collect debts due to Turkey. The reply concluded: “In the interests of peace, we propose to sign the essential clauses on which agreement has been reached, leaving the others'for further negotiations.’ ’
