SALE OF BOROUGH SECIONS.

BALLOT TO BE HELD. Owing to the number oi applications received lor the borougii sections in Vance Street, the Council jit their meeting on Tuesday evening decided to take a ballot on Tuesday evening next, and applicants be notified to attend. The draw will take place at 7.30 p.m. sharp. Applications are to be extended up to 10 a.m. on the day ol the ballot. It was also decided that section 6 be included at the price of £BS, with £lO down and £5 per quarter, unpaid purchase money to bear interest at 6 per cent.
