SEVERAL CHANGES. The New Zealand team for the second test was announced yesterday, and is as follows: N. C. Snedden (Auckland). ,7. Shepherd (Otago). R. C. Blunt (Canterbury). D. C. Collins (Wellington). D. R. Garrard (Auckland). C. Allcott (Auckland). .7. W. Condliffe (Wellington). H. M. McGirr (Wellington). H. Lambert (Taranaki). E. L. Bernau (Wellington). C. Dacre (Auckland).
Those dropped are Brice, Hiddleston, Smith and McLeod ; and the newcomers are Dacre, McGi. i. Bernau and Lambert, R. W. Rountree, the Auckland, wicket-keeper, was not available owing to injuries.
