THE RAINFALL.
The following is the rainfall in Shannon for the year ending December 31, 1922, as compared with the similar period in 1921:
During the year the heaviest day’s rainfall was on March 2 with 1.92 in. Over an inch of rain fell on the following days: July 12, l.llin; August 21, i.ssin; October 12, 1.16 in; November 9,1.47 in; November 11, 1.46 in; and November 30, l.OSin. November was the wettest month, with 7.93 in, closely followed by March with 7.35 in. The heaviest day’s rain for the month of December was on the 9th, with .79.
