He was 1 closely questioned by some of the audi- : ence on the land policy advocated by ! the Labour Party. Farmers present could not see any difference between ; it and plain confiscation; and the canj didate did not succeed in convincing I them otherwise. The questioners were f very forcible in their objection to this j plank in the Labour policy.
