TENNIS.

. - - -+-- On Wednesday afternoon a team from the Longburn Tennis Clun paiu a return visit to the local team, winch had visited Longburn a couple 01 weeks ago. A most, enjoyable match was played between th«, two clubs in the presence of a fair number of spectators. The local club defeated the visitors by 17 sets to 7. During me ai'temon refreshments were proviued by the ladies, which were much appreciated. Mr J. T. Bovis thanked the Longburn team for their visit, and said lie hoped they had all enjoyed themselves., Mr Birch, president of the Longburn Club, suitably replied.
