BOWLING.
On Wednesday two local rinks journeyed to Foxton to take part in the triangular match between Levin, Foxton and Shannon clubs. Both rinks were successful in their games against Foxton. Levin proved the winners in the aggregate, securing four points advantage of Shannon. The following were the rinks from Shannon: Shannon, Clayton, Spencer and Fargher (skip) 19—17; H. Butt, E. Butt, Murray, McKegg (skip) 17—16.
