Grace Heremaia was charged on ffite information of the police with driving an unligbted vehiclp in Oxford Street after sunset on October 25. Defendant did not appear, and was convicted and fined 5/ with 7/ costs. CIVIL CLAIMS. Judgment for plaintiffs was given in the following civil cases: Horowhemia County Council v. H. C. Wilkins and F. Wilkins claim £8 7/2, costs £3 15/6;: i Levin Borough Council v. John Collis,. claim £7 19/4, costs £1 10/6; H. E. Hook v. G. G. Kelly, claim £sl 11/3, costs£4 11/6; Levin Borough Council v. Titi Broughton, claim £3 1/8, costs £1 11/6? Joseph Lemmon v. H. J. Merrit, claim’ £3O 6/8, costs £3 11/; Harper and Merton v. John Collis, claim £4 6/, costs £1 3/6. JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. Tuna Roera was ordered to pay Gabriel Assoff the sum of £2B 4/6 at the rate of £1 per month, in default 28 days’ imprisonment. ‘Billy” Gray was ordered to pay W. Porter £lB 9/8 within three months or take 14 days in gaol.
