Owing to the wet weather on Saturday, all sports fixtures were postponed.
Applications for the borough houses close this evening, when a ballot will be taken if necessary.
Anglers have been successful ,-f late on the Otaki and Ohau livers, arid some good fish hav,e: been landed.
