Th( closing date is extended to Wednes day, 15th November, papers to b< handed in to Mrs Aldersey by noor of that day. A number of Shannor children were successful in the Pro hibition essay competition, and it is felt that there is sufficient talenl among the children to enable any one of them to write a sentence for the Doll competition. Any boy or girl attending school may enter on payment of 6d entrance fee. Call at. Mrs Aldersey’s shop and see the! doll. It is a real beauty.
