That there seems to he a crime-wave passing over Shannon just now. That there seems to be great rivalry between two local clubs as to who owns the spoons.
Thai “Truth” is sending a special representative up' to hear the first shot fired. “Truth” always did like plenty of excitement. That more money is still wanted for the School Picnic Fund. “M. and Y” will see that money sent to them is acknowledged in the Shannon News and reaches the right quarters. Who will help? That “M. and Y.’s” warning re “silent policeman” was.written before the last narrow squeak at the corner. That the Borough Council say they are metalling the local roads. “M. and Y” thinks they are building castles.
