A picture that a great deal has been heard about is due at the local theatre to-morrow night. it features Georges Carpentier, the French boxer, in me screen romance “The Wonder Man.” Carpentier is the idol of the sporting population of London and Paris, and in addition to his prowess in the hempen ring, he . adds great charm as a screen actor. “The Wonder Man” is highly spoken Qf, and has drawn packed audiences wherever it has been shown. It will be screened to-morrow night with a strong programme of supports behind it.
