MANGAHAO HYDRO.

A large gathering was held in the Y.M.C.A. Recreation Hut on Wednesday evening last, when Mr Hughes (national secretary of the Y.M.C.A.) was present and gave an address concerning the industrial branch of the movement, The local Pierrot. Troupe gave a short programme, which was thoroughly enjoyed by .-Tl. A community sing, led by Mr Hughes during the evening quite “took on” with- the workers. A short comedy film was screened, aiid after the floor was cleared and a happy social end dance was enjoyed until midnight.
