VISITORS TO MANGAHAO.

Yesterday .a party, consisting ol the Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of Public Works, and a dozen members of Parliament, arrived by the Napier mail from Wellington, and were joined at. Shannon by Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., and several members of the Mana-watu-Oroua Electric Power Board. The party then proceeded by motor on a visit to the Mangaliao hydro works, tlie visit having been arranged by Mr Nash. The: party were in charge ol Mr Dinnie, District Engineer. After an inspection of the main powerhouse and works at Mangorei, a move was made to.Arapeti, where luncheon j was partaken of. The »party then made a round of inspection of the work in progress. From there several journeyed to the top camp. The visitors were impressed at Ihe satisfactory way in which the work was progressing. The Wellington members of the party returned home by the New Plymouth express. 1
