THE STRASBURG CLOCK.

EXHIBITION IN SHANNON. The wonderful working of tine world-famous Strasburg clock will commence a three-days' season in the Druids' Hall Thursday. The model performs all the intricate and wondrous working of the graet original—the procession of the twelve apostles, the appearance of the Saviour, Peter's denial of Christ, the crowing of the cock on the tower, the visitation of Satjan, and the appearance of the grim figure of death. All these movements take place every 15 minutes. This is one of the most interesting and educational exhibitions touring the world. The exhibition visited Auckland in 1886. This is the first visit to Shannon. It has been shown in eveiy part of the civilised jworld. As the model is to return to its home in Alsace-Lorraine at the termination of its New Zealand tour, readers should avail themselves of the opportunity of viewing this masterpiece of mechanical skill. The season is for three days only, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and the hours of showing are: Afternoon, 2 till 5; evenings, 7 till 10. Admission: Adults 1/, children under 14, 6d.
