SPECIAL MEETING of the Shan-; llon Borough Council was held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, i’July 11, ,1922, at 7.30 p.m., when it was -resolved by way of Special Order as follows: That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers yested in it by the Housing Act, 1919, Section 16 of the Local Bodies Act, 1913, and Section 333 of the Municipal Corporal ions Act, 1920, I the_ Shannon Borough Council rej solves by Special Order as fallows:— That for the purpose of acquiring land, and building thereon workers’ dwellings, the Shannon Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £4500 for a period of yeays, and declares that the cost .of . raisirfg the loan shall 1 be paid out .of j the monies so raised, and the Council 1 , pledges as security for buck* loan and the interest thereon, a Special Rate »of two-fifths’. of a penny .in the L€ on sthe Capital lvalue of all the. rateable -property in Uk* Borough of Shannon. • A special, summoned meeting j will be held on tiV 15th day of Aug-8 ust, 1922, to confirm' the abore resolution.
