Charles Ray will appear on Monday in “Peaceful Valley.” This feature brings back the “wonder boy oi the screen” in a role which he has made a perfect thing of its kind. I lie eountry outh is with us again as human as natural, as humorous as liis creatoi can make him. To see the star again as the rustic lad who does the chores, makes love in an awkward fashion, and good-naturedly teases his mother and sister, brings an hour of complete enjoyment. He resides in Peaceful Valley, where contentment is supreme. To ease the declining days of his mother and -earn enough money to send sister to school—that is his sole motive of life. The picture is punctuated with bright and charming flashes of country life —of how these simple people make the best of things and go through life accepting it with a happy philosophy. *
