SHANNON BOROUGH COUNCIL. i A SPECIAL MEETING of the Shan- *•"■**• non Borough Council was held in the Council Chambers on. Tuesday, July 11,1922, at 7.30 p.m., when it was resolved by way of Special Order as follows; That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Housing Act, 1919, Section 16 of the Local Bodies Act, 1913, and Section 333 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the_ Shannon Borough Council resolves by Special Order as follows: That for the purpose of acquiring land, and building thereon workers’ dwellings, the Shannon Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £4500 for a period of 36£ years, and - declares that the cost of raising the loan shall be paid out of the monies so raised, and the Council pledges as security for such loan and the interest thereon, a Special Rate of two-fifths of a penny in the £ on the Capital Value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Shannon. A SPECIAL SUMMONED MEETING will be held on the 15th day of August, 1922, to confirm the above resolution. J. S. CAMERON, Town Clerk.
