Shannon News TUESDAY, JULY 11, 1922.
Since the Shannon News was established a year ago, it has made such -progress as to now demand more, time than our local representative, with the increase of his other interests, has been able to give it. The growtli on both the news and commercial sides warrants an addition to ihe facilities lor dealing with them, and it has therefore been decided to appoint a resident local representative who will devote the whole of his lime to the interests of the paper in conjunction with Mr Hyde. Mr B. Hudson, who has had considerable experience in both the mechanical and commercial departments of newspapers, has accepted the position, and has taken up his duties. Mr Hudson will be pleased to attend all meetings and functions for which invitations are sent, and to wait on subscribers and clients desiring any, information or service regarding news, advertising or job printing. A local office will be opened as soon as' suitable premises are available.
