Demos has done well since the Otaki meeting and is doing attractive work at Awapuni. He is engaged in the principal events at Trentham next month.

Calrna, who met with slight injuries while contesting the H.B. Steeplechase, is all right again, and is doing strong work at Awapuni. Her next outing will be in the Wellington Steeplechase, in which C. McChesney will probably have the mount.

Tussore is doing useful work at Awapuni. J Kelly has him looking well.

Passionless is in good condition. Her track wbrk suggests that a race will come her way shortly. The Advance mare Equitas is to bo mated next season with Mr J. B. Reid’s imported horse, Paper Money. I.quitas, who is the dam of the New Zealand Cup winner, Oratress, has two representatives at Riccarton, a yearling colt by Sunny Lake and a filly foal by Martian.
