GOLF NOTES

Provided the weather is fine, the monthly medal match to-morrow should prove a very interesting one. The handicaps have been made more even and the indications are for a keen contest. Competitors are requested to read and comply with the new local rules, which they will find posted at the links.

On Saturday, July 8, a Shannon team will travel to Levin to try conclusions with that club. The local team has been picked as follows: Men: Shergold, Logan, Murphy, Morgan, Saxon, Seifert, Evans, Anderson, Johnson, Dinnie, Da.vis, King, Goodwin.

Ladies: Mrs Saxon, Miss G. Goodwin, Miss Morgan, Miss E. Goodwin. Players are requested to notify the secretary if unable to travel to Levin on July 8:
