MAORI LAND THEATRE.

> A THRILLER FOR WEDNESDAY.

“Go and Get It” is dedicated to newspaper reporters, so it is only natural that the hero is a reporter—and such a reporter! Pat O’Malley in the role jumps from one aeroplane to another, and performs all sorts of death-defying stunts in the pursuit of news—the story he is to “go .and get” about a hideous mystery that has shocked into terrific awe the inhabitants of a big city. He gets the story, assisted by charming Agnes Ayres and that freckle-faced young imp, Wesley Barry/ but the getting of it involves the greatest series of hair-raising thrills that melodrama ever possessed; not the least of these is the wonderful characterisation of Bull Montana as a huge gorilla. Pure melodrama it is, but of a class by: itself—Marshall Neilan has excelled beyond all measure in the intensity and enthralling interest of his production.

“CONQUERED HEARTS” FRIDAY. Which is the greater, love or ambi-

tion? That is the theme of the Ivan feature, “Conquered Hearts,” in which beautiful Marguerite Marsh has the stellar role. “Conquered Hearts” is a drama of sociological problems of life of to-day ,and abounds in thrilling moments of dramatic intensity. Whether in the commonplace garb of the girl ol' the tenements, or in the spectacular .attire of the woman of society and fashion, Miss Marsh holds a great appeal that contributes largely to her success. In addition, she registers on the screen a camera picture that has the same attraction that a Harrison Fisher drawing has, a womanly girl, yet of rare beauty. “Conquered Hearts” has attractions above ttie average ,and should universally please.
